Insurance & Payment Information
Network Participation
I accept the following Insurance Programs:
Aetna
Anthem
Blue Cross
Health Net
Managed Health Network (MHN)
Please note: Insurance policies vary significantly. I recommend verifying your specific benefits before beginning treatment to make informed decisions about your care.
Out-of-Network Benefits
If I am not in-network with your specific insurance plan, you may still have coverage options:
Many insurance plans include out-of-network mental health benefits that can provide partial reimbursement for therapy sessions. To determine your coverage:
Contact your insurance company using the phone number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What percentage of session costs will be covered?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
What documentation is required for reimbursement?
How Out-of-Network Reimbursement Works
You pay for sessions directly at the time of service
I provide detailed invoices and superbills with all necessary information for insurance submission
You submit documentation to your insurance company for reimbursement
Your insurance reimburses you directly according to your plan benefits
Questions?
I'm happy to discuss insurance and payment options during our initial consultation. Understanding your coverage helps ensure you can access the care you need without unexpected financial concerns.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
